I was born and raised in San Francisco, but over the years so much has changed. You should know by now, I love to eat. Every week a new trendy restaurant opens, and if the food is good, chances are I have been there to try it out. My friends Lexi and Clay from Seattle came back into town to hang out with us, since we have a reputation of taking them to the best breakfast joints, we decided to take them to Brenda's French Soul Food. This place is tucked away in the grimy Tenderloin district, but be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour for a table.
This is a flight of Beignets, a French doughnut. Here you see four different flavors, plain, apple, chocolate and crawfish. Best part of the meal...
Shrimp and Goat cheese omelet
My dish! Good ol' fashion Shrimp and Grits!
Be jealous...very jealous. Sweet potato pancakes, smothered in a pecan butter sauce. Bye!!
Yummy. Nice photos and text on the background. Look forward to see more.
