Frisco!

I was born and raised in San Francisco, but over the years so much has changed. You should know by now, I love to eat. Every week a new trendy restaurant opens, and if the food is good, chances are I have been there to try it out. My friends Lexi and Clay from Seattle came back into town to hang out with us, since we have a reputation of taking them to the best breakfast joints, we decided to take them to Brenda's French Soul Food. This place is tucked away in the grimy Tenderloin district, but be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour for a table.

This is a flight of Beignets, a French doughnut. Here you see four different flavors, plain, apple, chocolate and crawfish. Best part of the meal...

A little taste of Sonoma

Every year Sonoma hosts the "Heart of Sonoma" wine tasting event. While my boyfriends cousin was in town, we decided we all needed a little break, so we packed up the truck and headed North. This event was inexpensive- costing only $40 for a day pass which included unlimited wine tasting, food and even music at all the participating vineyards. There were about 15 vineyards altogether. By the end of the tour I was leaning like the tower of Pisa!

Tahoe: Part Deux

Because I love Tahoe so much, I had to go again! Well, not really– this time I went with my family. There was way more snow than there was the month before, so we decided to go snowmobiling. Along our scenic path, I was able to get some great shots of the powder.

My boyfriend and I were at edge of a cliff and waterfall, I was scared as hell, but I had to get the shot! Too bad my dad isn't much of a photographer

My little sister made me do it, but I must admit, I had a blast!

A cheap trip to England!

OK, so not really- but seeing the Brit born artist Estelle and her entourage was nostalgic for me.
There are a lot of new British artist coming out of the wood works in the music scene- Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, Leona Lewis, and Estelle are just to name a few. Estelle, infamously known for her "American Boy" song featuring the hottest cat in the game Kanye West, is on a national tour here in the U.S. and came to San Francisco last week for a hott show at the Mezzanine. Estelle's DJ happens to be a good friend of mine, so my girl and I got hooked up with some tickets to go check her out along with Solange (Beyoncé's sister) and a number of other new artist who just signed to Universal Motown.
The show was cool- I was a little bored because I have already seen both Estelle and Solange before, and I honestly don't care for Solange- but the show was free and so were the cocktails; and where there are free drinks, you'll find a happy me!

Estelle got a little naughty at this show. Oh boy!

And so did Solange...

Meet Hall... This guy is hott, and he's not British, he's from Barbados- sexy!

And last but not least, my BFF, DJ Smash- who is a bloody Brit!
